Responsibilities

• User Interface Design: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Assist in developing wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Design Iteration: Work closely with designers and developers to iterate on UI designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and design critiques.
• Responsive Design: Ensure that UI designs are responsive and adaptable across various devices and screen sizes to provide a consistent user experience.
  
• UI Pattern Library: Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the UI pattern library, ensuring consistency and adherence to design guidelines.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver UI solutions that align with project goals.
• User-Centred Design: Participate in user research and usability testing sessions to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences, incorporating findings into design improvements.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI design trends, tools, and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in [relevant field, e.g., Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, etc.] or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of UI design principles, typography, colour theory, layout and icons.
  
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
  
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate unique design concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Portfolio showcasing UI design projects and demonstrating a solid grasp of design fundamentals.
