Roles and Responsibility

• Design and apply ML models to serve customers in semantic search, recommendation systems, topic modeling etc.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience working with high volumes of data, ideally with machine learning playing a critical role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of traditional machine learning models.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Natural Language Processing.
• Familiarity with deep learning
  
• ElasticSearch/Solr experience
• Ability to build models based on TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn
• Deep understanding of information retrieval
• Experience working with Python

Good to Have

• Knowledge of backend technologies - Postgres, Elasticsearch/Solr
• Familiarity with vector search and vector search engines like Jina/Vespa/Milvus
  
• Familiarity with Cloud AWS/GCP/Azure
• Familiar with docker/serverless architectures
  
• Working with open source software

Experience

• M.Tech/B.Tech from top tier colleges - IITs/IISc/NITs/BITS or equivalent
